announced today that it has been selected as one of several prime contractors to develop, field, and sustain turnkey telecommunications solutions on the U.S. Army Global Tactical Advanced Communications Systems (GTACS) contract. This five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, which has a ceiling of $10 billion, supports the Army's Program Executive Office Command, Control and Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T). This contract expands CACI's already strong presence in its C4ISR (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) market. PEO C3T develops, acquires, and fields a range of products, including specialized software applications, terrestrial and satellite communications systems and networks, and network management solutions to Army units and provides systems integration as well as on-site training and support. The GTACS contract will be used to supply various telecommunications needs within the United States and overseas. The GTACS contract affords CACI the opportunity to design, produce, and integrate a broad range of mobile and fixed-site communications systems, networks, and ancillary equipment, and provide training and sustainment services, required to accommodate both the Department of Defense (DoD) and civilian agency missions. CACI offers the Army proven experience in quick-reaction prototyping and deployment of telecommunications solutions, including the integration of commercial and government systems into various delivery platforms. The company also has a strong track record in managing large IDIQ programs to best meet critical customer requirements. According to John Mengucci, CACI Chief Operating Officer and President of U.S. Operations, “The C4ISR solutions and services CACI will provide for the U.S. Army's Global Tactical Advanced Communications Systems program are integral in ensuring our soldiers are equipped with the mission-critical systems and networks necessary to safeguard our nation.” CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Dan Allen said, “CACI continues to align our information solutions and services in markets to meet our government's highest priorities. This new work in global communications for the U.S. Army positions us for advancing our presence and continued growth in our established C4ISR market area.” CACI provides information solutions and services in support of national security missions and government transformation for Intelligence, Defense, and Federal Civilian clients. A member of the Fortune 1000 Largest Companies and the Russell 2000 Index, CACI provides dynamic careers for approximately 14,900 employees working in over 120 offices worldwide.
