A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts
Pre-open movers US stock futures are mixed this morning, as investors are awaiting economic data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 28 points to 12,747.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 2.70 points to 1,372.60. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 1 point to 2,573.00.
A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index dropped 0.44%, London's FTSE 100 Index fell 0.46%, French CAC 40 Index declined 0.26% and German DAX 30 index dropped 0.93%.
Asian markets ended lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average falling 0.90%, China's Shanghai Composite declining 0.12% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 dropping 0.44%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index fell 0.85% and India's Sensex declined 0.86%.
Broker Recommendation Analysts at Deutsche Bank downgraded Kayak Software (NASDAQ: KYAK) from “buy” to “hold.”
Kayak shares jumped 26.61% to $39.30 in after-hours trading.
