Obama Wins California, Hawaii, Washington; Romney Gets 2 Others

President Obama is the projected winner in the Democratic strongholds of California, Hawaii and Washington while Republican rival Mitt Romney is the projected winner in Idaho and North Carolina. California is by far the largest state accounting for 55 electoral votes. At 11:05 p.m. Eastern time, Obama leads in the electoral college 244-193. A winner has yet to be declared in Colorado, Florida, Ohio and Nevada.
