US Cellular to Launch Post-Paid Plans in Walmart Stores

announced today that it will begin offering its postpaid service in more than 460 Walmart stores across the country. Customers can select from U.S. Cellular's value-packed plans and enjoy all of the carrier's unique benefits, such as the only points-based rewards program in wireless, no new contract after the first one ends and free incoming calls, texts and picture messages. "Bringing our postpaid service to Walmart provides consumers with another option when they're shopping for wireless," said Carter Elenz, executive vice president of sales and customer service for U.S. Cellular. "We look forward to showing Walmart customers that a better relationship with their wireless carrier is possible by providing the best customer experience and treating our customers like neighbors, not numbers."
