A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts
Pre-open movers US stock futures are higher this morning, as investors are awaiting new home sales data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 23 points to 13,064.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 4.30 points to 1,411.10. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 7.50 points to 2,668.00.
A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were higher today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index rose 0.47%, London's FTSE 100 Index gained 0.28%, French CAC 40 Index climbed 0.40% and German DAX 30 index rose 0.34%.
Asian markets ended mixed, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average dropping 0.67%, China's Shanghai Composite rising 0.07% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 dropping 0.82%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index gained 0.31%.
Broker Recommendation Analysts at JP Morgan downgraded DuPont (NYSE: DD) from “overweight” to “neutral.” The target price for DuPont has been lowered from $58 to $47.
DuPont shares dropped 0.29% to $45.12 in pre-market trading.
