VSE Awarded $8M SSA Subcontract from Koniag Services

reported today that its subsidiary, G&B Solutions, has been awarded a Time and Materials (T&M) follow-on task order by Koniag Services, Inc. (KSI) to continue providing support under the System Operations Support Services (SOSS) contract to the Social Security Administration (SSA). The new task order has a one year period of performance, and is valued at over $8 million. As “Team KSI,” Koniag Services, Inc. and G&B Solutions Inc. will continue to provide Information Technology (IT) support under the previously awarded SSA SOSS contract. G&B, as KSI's first tier subcontractor, supports the National Network Service Center Help Desk, the Remote Operating Communications Centers (ROCC), the Office of Automation Support, and in the areas of Intrusion Detection, Facilities Support, High Assurance (HA) Remote Access, Government Services Online (GSO), and Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM). “G&B Solutions is pleased to continue a successful partnership with KSI,” said Jennifer Terry, G&B Solutions' Director of Operations. “Team KSI's technical expertise and capabilities have proven to be the right solution to support the computer systems and networks that are critical to the success of the Social Security Administration.” Team KSI provides services primarily at the National Computer Center in Baltimore, MD, and at the Durham Support Center in Durham, NC, and will work as required at other SSA headquarters campus sites, including the Program Service Centers, Regional Operations Communications Centers, and the Office of Disability Adjudication Review.
