Benzinga Mid-Morning Market Update

As a reminder, earnings season officially kicks off on Tuesday, so watch for more movement and market volatility starting then.

Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX) received a boost in early trading Monday, rising 7.79 percent to $71.74 following an upgrade at Morgan Stanley.

Questcor Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: QCOR) rallied 2.53 percent to $19.89 after a few firms speculated that the Achtar policy update was positive for the company.

Harley Davidson (NYSE: HOG) also saw a boost Monday morning, increasing 3.05 percent to $43.27.

Netspend Holdings (NASDAQ: NTSP) fell 5.86 percent to $10.12 in early trading after Wal-Mart (NYSE: WMT) and American Express (NYSE: AXP) announced a deal to provide prepaid Walmart cards.

Golden Star Resources (NYSE: GSS) saw a drop in early trading as well, falling 2.51 percent to $1.94, possibly linked to the continuing labor disputes in South Africa.

Primero Mining (NYSE: PPP) also fell, trading down 4.75 percent to $7.02, also possibly linked to the South African unrest.

Economic news was particularly light on Monday, with no significant releases being made.
