Benzinga Mid-Day Market Update
Mid way through trading Tuesday, the Dow was down about 0.39 percent to 13,515.24. The NASDAQ rose as well, up about 0.05 percent to 3,125.24, while the S&P traded down 0.06 percent to 1,443.57.
Shares of Rosetta Genomics (NASDAQ: ROSG) rose 3.29 percent to $6.46 following its announcement of a new product release in the US.
Leap Wireless (NASDAQ: LEAP) traded up 13.00 percent to $7.91 and MetroPCS (NYSE: PCS) rallied 18.14 percent following a Bloomberg report of a deal between and MetroPCS and T-Mobile.
MSCI (NYSE: MSCI) took a beating Tuesday morning after the company announced it was being investigated by the SEC. Shares fell 29.31 percent to $25.32.
Shares of Express (NYSE: EXPR) fell 20.69 percent to $11.91 following a drastic cut in its third-quarter guidance.
Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE: CMG) took a hit after David Einhorn said the stock was overvalued at the Value Investor Conference. Shares fell 4.98 percent to $300.40.
Zillow (NASDAQ: Z) also fell, dropping 4.36 percent to $37.96.
In economic news, the ISM New York figure came in at 52.9, slightly above the previous figure of 51.4. There were no other significant economic reports Tuesday.
