VirnetX Says Jury Trial Against Apple Will Begin October 31

VirnetX Holding Corporation (NYSE: VHC), an Internet security software and technology company, today announced that after a hearing at the scheduling conference requested by all the parties, the judge agreed to modify the trial schedule in VirnetX's patent infringement suits against Apple, Cisco, Avaya and Siemens to allow for optimum use of resources for trial preparation while giving parties additional time to try to reach an agreement. Per the updated schedule, jury selection in the trial against Apple will begin on October 29, 2012 followed by a jury trial on October 31, 2012. Remaining defendants including Cisco, Avaya and Siemens are now scheduled for a jury selection on March 4, 2013.
