IBM Acquires Butterfly Software

IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced that it has acquired Butterfly Software Ltd., a privately held data analysis and migration software company headquartered in Maidenhead, England. Financial terms were not disclosed. Butterfly will become part of IBM's Software Group.
