Trulia Lists Initial Public Offering on the New York Stock Exchange
Today, Trulia, opened for trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the ticker symbol “TRLA” after its initial public offering. GETCO Securities is the designated market maker for the company's stock. CEO Pete Flint, joined by members of Trulia's leadership team, visited the NYSE trading floor to view the company's stock opening.
NYSE Euronext welcomed the company on its first day of trading by bringing the Trulia experience to the NYSE. An Astroturf lawn was laid in front of GETCO Securities' trading post. The post was dressed with “For Sale” and “For Rent” signs, along with a decal picket fence. Additionally, the NYSE trading floor community sported jackets with Trulia's NYSE-listed emblem. The theme extended to NYSE's Experience Square where a large Trulia banner adorned the NYSE façade, two miniature homes with “For Sale” and “For Rent” signs were showcased on an Astroturf lawn, and lemonade was distributed to the NYSE community.
