American Midstream Announces Letter of Intent to Develop Midstream Infrastructure in East Texas

today announced the execution of a letter of intent with an independent exploration and production company to develop and operate gathering, treating and processing infrastructure in East Texas. Under the terms of the letter of intent, American Midstream will construct a midstream system to gather, treat, compress and process natural gas from wells targeting multiple liquids-rich producing formations, including the Eaglebine Formation. The midstream system would include up to 60 million cubic feet per day of gathering and processing capacity to support the customer's production as well as other third-party development in the area. American Midstream expects to complete construction on the initial phase of the midstream infrastructure and begin operations in early 2013.
