Xerox (NYSE: XRX) will provide the city of San Diego with network, voice and data communications services to help maintain delivery of high-quality customer service to citizens. The five-year, $57 million agreement is estimated to save the city as much as $11.1 million over the life of the contract.

Xerox will transform the city's existing telecom network infrastructure to a single digital network supporting voice and data communications. The new converged high-speed network will lower the city's costs and improve service for its employees.
