Constellation Renews Contract with State of New Jersey to Supply Competitively Priced Electricity to State Agencies
Constellation, a business unit of Exelon, today announced it has renewed and extended for two years an agreement to supply competitively priced electricity to the state of New Jersey.
Under the contract extension from June 2013 to June 2015, Constellation will supply more than 2 billion kilowatt hours of electricity to New Jersey entities ranging from the New Jersey Turnpike to the New Jersey Economic Development Authority.
“Constellation is pleased to renew this contract and leverage our considerable energy management experience with multiple public sector organizations to help the state of New Jersey manage energy costs,” said Louis Hutchinson, vice president of public sector and energy efficiency sales for Constellation.
In New Jersey, Constellation serves more than 90,000 commercial, residential and public sector accounts, and provides services that include solar and energy efficiency.
