Iluka Reports 16% Rise In H1 Mineral-Sands Revenue

Iluka Resources Ltd

reported a rise in its revenue from its mineral sands operations in the first six months of 2012. Iluka's revenue for the period surged to 662.8 million Australian dollars (US$679.5 million), versus A$570.2 million, in the year-ago period. Iluka's first-half zircon production declined to 209,000 tons, from 285,700 tons, in the year-ago period.
