Praxair China Starts up New Air Separation Plant for Meishan Steel
Praxair China has started up a new air separation plant in Nanjing, Jiangsu province for Meishan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Baosteel Group, one of the world's top steel makers.
This new air separation plant has a capacity of 1,700 tons per day and supplies oxygen, nitrogen and argon to support Meishan Steel's growing demand as well as deliver added value in energy efficiency, product quality and process safety. The plant's liquid capacity also improves Praxair's ability to reliably supply the region's merchant liquid customers.
