This Instagram Concept Could Revolutionize Photography

When Facebook (NASDAQ: FB) acquired Instagram, many questioned the $1 billion sale price. What was the strategy behind the acquisition? Did the social network pay too much for the photo app maker? Are there other, less expensive companies that Facebook should have acquired instead?
