European markets were mixed today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index rose 0.17%, London's FTSE 100 Index gained 0.41%, French CAC 40 index dropped 0.30% and German DAX 30 index surged 0.10%. Asian markets ended mostly higher, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rising 1.11%, Chinese Shanghai Composite dropping 0.34% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 rising 0.23%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index surged 0.53% and India's Sensex gained 0.22%.

Broker Recommendation

Analysts at BMO Capital upgraded Cisco Systems

CSCO

from “market perform” to “outperform.” The target price for Cisco has been raised from $20 to $21. Cisco shares dropped 0.06% to $17.17 in after-hours trading.
