Japan Posts Wider May Trade Deficit
Japan posted a wider trade deficit May.
The country's trade deficit widened to ¥907.3 billion ($11.47 billion), from ¥520.3 billion in April, according to Financial Ministry data. Economists were expecting a trade deficit of ¥520 billion.
Japan's exports for the month surged 10% y/y, while imports rose 9.3%.
