By 10:07 am, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 80.03 points, or 0.63%, to 12,821.85, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had gained 11.10 points, or 0.83%. The NASDAQ composite index rose 28.50 points, or 0.98%.

Some of the narrow based indexes that are driving the markets are Pharmacy Benefit Manager Stocks, which have gained 3.1%, Rare Earth Stocks, up 2.6%, and Agricultural Chemical and Fertilizer Stocks, moving 1.5% higher as a group.

In Tickerspy's Pharmacy Benefit Manager complex, SXC Health Solutions (NASDAQ: SXCI) had surged 4%. SXC Health Solutions has been awarded Specialty Pharmacy Accreditation from URAC.
