TD Ameritrade Holding Corporation (NYSE: AMTD) today announced Company metrics for May 2012. Monthly activities included:

An average of 370,000 client trades per day in May 2012, down 2 percent from May 2011 and up 1 percent from April 2012. $431.7 billion in total client assets as of May 31, 2012, up 3 percent from May 2011 and down 4 percent from April 2012.

Average spread-based balances of $73.3 billion, up 17 percent from May 2011 and down 1 percent from April 2012.(1)

Average fee-based balances of $87.8 billion, up 6 percent from May 2011 and down 1 percent from April 2012.(1)
