Euro-Zone Retail Sales Decline In April

According to the European Union statistics agency, Eurostat, the volume of retail sales in the euro zone dropped 1% in April.

Euro-zone retail sales declined 2.5% versus the same month last year. However, economists were expecting a monthly drop of 0.2% and a 1.1% y/y decline.
