Japan's Consumer Prices Increase In April

Japan's consumer prices rose in April, according to the Finance Ministry. Japan's consumer price index climbed 0.2% y/y. However, economists were expecting core CPI to rise 0.1%. On a monthly basis, Japan's core CPI rose 0.2%. The overall CPI gained 0.1% in April.
