Medallion Financial Corp. Announces Pricing of 3.5M Share Offering at $10.72

Medallion Financial Corp.

today announced that it has priced its previously announced underwritten public offering of 3,500,000 shares of its common stock at a price of $10.72 per share. The Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 525,000 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. The Company expects net proceeds from the offering to be approximately $34.6 million, after deducting underwriting discounts, commissions and estimated offering expenses. The offering is expected to close on May 21, 2012, subject to customary closing conditions.
