California Court Sets July 5 as Hearing Date for Apple's 'Antisuit Suit' Against Motorola

The United States District Court for the Southern District of California set July 5 as the hearing date for Apple's (NASDAQ: AAPL) suit against Motorola (NYSE: MMI). Judge Janis Sammartino will begin deliberations on that date as to whether Apple's suit will proceed or be dismissed, according to FOSS Patents' Florian Mueller.

The "antisuit lawsuit" seeks to protect the company against patent litigation from Motorola.
