China Business Confidence Index Rises In First Quarter

Business confidence index in China climbed between January and March. The National Bureau of Statistics (

) revised business confidence index surged to 123 in the first quarter, versus 120.9 in the previous three months. However, the index stood at 138.9 in the year-ago period. NBS reported that its business climate index fell to 127.3 in the first quarter, versus 127.8 in the prior quarter.
