Mercedes-Benz February China Auto Sales Surge 61%

Daimler AG (OTC: DDAIF) reported a 61% rise in sales of Mercedes-Benz's passenger cars in China.
Mercedes-Benz sold 20,250 vehicles in February.
Sales of Mercedes-Benz, Smart, AMG and Maybach vehicles came in at 35,640 units for the first two months of the year.
Sales of its S-Class luxury sedans surged to 7,030 units in January.
Daimler shares closed at $61.48 yesterday.
