SAIC Motor February Sales Surge 29.7%

SAIC Motor Corp reported a 29.7% y/y rise in February sales. SAIC Motor sold 367,325 vehicles in the month. For the January-February period, sales of SAIC Motor and its joint ventures climbed 6.98% y/y to 747,630 vehicles. For February, sales of SAIC's joint venture with Volkswagen AG

surged 29% y/y to 103,202 vehicles. However, sales of SAIC's joint venture with General Motors

jumped 34.5% y/y to 106,631 units.
