rose about 1.1% after the company reported a 12% y/y drop in its January traffic. Genesee & Wyoming's carloads declined to 72,887 last month, from 82,735, in the year-ago period. Excluding latest acquisitions, Genesee & Wyoming's traffic fell 14%. Metals traffic surged 22% to 8,946 carloads. Shares of SunOpta Inc

gained about 1.9% after the company reported that Opta Minerals Inc has bought all of the outstanding common shares of Babco Industrial Corp for $17.6 million in cash. Shares of CVR Energy Inc

rose about 0.8% after the company announced that it will begin paying a quarterly cash dividend of $0.08 per common share. Shares of W.W. Grainger Inc

gained about 1.7% after the company reported a 17% y/y rise in its sales in January. Excluding acquisitions, W.W. Grainger's sales climbed 12% y/y. Its US sales surged 11% y/y, while sales from Canada climbed 17%.
