SAIC Awarded $15 Million Task Order by the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration

announced today it was awarded a task order by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) to provide information technology (

) modernization services in support of Portal Modernization Stage Two of FMCSA's IT Modernization Program. The follow-on task order has a one-year base period of performance, two six-month options, and a contract value of more than $15 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed primarily in Arlington, Va. The task order was awarded under the Government Services Administration (GSA) IT 70 contract vehicle.
