Associated Estates Increases Dividend to $0.18 from $0.17

The Company announced plans to increase the quarterly dividend to $0.18 per common share beginning with the second quarter dividend, scheduled to be paid in May, 2012. The proposed increase represents a 5.9% annualized increase to the current dividend.  The declaration and payment of quarterly dividends remains subject to review by and approval of the Board of Directors.
