Acacia Subsidiary Licenses Impact Technology to Stanley Black & Decker

Acacia Research Corporation (Nasdaq: ACTG) announced today that its Smooth Impact LLC subsidiary has entered into a license agreement with Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., covering patents directed to impact instrument technology. This agreement resolves the parties' dispute that was pending in the District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Case No. 6:10-cv-690.
