A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts

Pre-open movers US stock futures are lower this morning, as investors are awaiting a European Union summit. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 63 points to 12,551.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 7.20 points to 1,305.30. Nasdaq 100 futures dipped 13.25 points to 2,443.00.

A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index dropped 0.76%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved down 0.86%, French CAC 40 index fell 0.99% and German DAX 30 index dropped 0.63%.

Asian markets ended lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average dropping 0.6547%, China's Shanghai Composite declining 0.32% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving down 0.32%. Hong Jong's Hang Seng index fell 1.6646% and India's Sensex dipped 2.15%.

Broker Recommendation Analysts at Dahlman Rose downgraded CF Industries Holdings Inc (NYSE: CF) from “buy” to “hold.” The target price for CF Industries is set to $180.

CF Industries shares dropped 0.33% to $178.99 in pre-market trading.
