A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts
Pre-open movers US stock futures are slightly higher this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 22 points to 12,676.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 1 point to 1,311.80. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 2.50 points to 2,437.25.
A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were higher today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index surged 0.38%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved up 0.67%, French CAC 40 index rose 0.40% and German DAX 30 index gained 0.53%.
Asian markets ended mostly lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average dropping 0.0053% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving down 0.36%. India's Sensex gained 12.72 points.
Broker Recommendation Analysts at Deutsche Bank upgraded Research In Motion Ltd (NASDAQ: RIMM) from “sell” to “hold.” The target price for Research In Motion has been raised from $10 to $18.
Research In Motion shares gained 2.94% to $17.50 in pre-market trading.
