A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts

Pre-open movers US stock futures are higher this morning, after upbeat data from China. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 90 points to 12,480.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 9.70 points to 1,298.60. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 19.50 points to 2,393.00.

A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were higher today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index rose 0.71%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved up 0.53%, French CAC 40 index rose 1.08% and German DAX 30 index surged 1.65%.

Asian markets ended higher, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average surging 1.0508%, China's Shanghai Composite surging 4.18% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving up 1.63%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 3.2377% and India's Sensex gained 1.71%.

Broker Recommendation Analysts at JP Morgan downgraded Logitech International (NASDAQ: LOGI) from “neutral” to “underweight.” The target price for Logitech International has been lowered from $11.50 to $9.

Logitech International shares gained 1.80% to $7.91 in pre-market trading.
