Tyler Technologies Awarded Reappraisal Project in Ohio; Appraisal Services to Value More than 70,000 parcels
Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) has signed an agreement with Fairfield County, Ohio, to provide real property appraisal services for the county's 2013 general reassessment, per its sexennial reappraisal cycle. The services, valued at approximately $1 million, include establishing property values for all real property and land parcels. Fairfield County also uses Tyler's Munis enterprise resource planning solution and will soon be using Tyler's iasWorld software as a service (SaaS) tax software.
Fairfield County has a population of approximately 146,000 and more than 70,000 parcels. State law requires Ohio counties to revalue parcels every six years. The reappraisal project will utilize Tyler's CLT Appraisal Services, based in Ohio, and Tyler Verify, a complete property data verification service that meets International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) standards. With Tyler Verify, Fairfield County will have detailed, high-resolution street-level images for improved data and image verification.
