Nexen Announces Resignation of CEO

Nexen Inc

announced the resignation of its Chief Executive Marvin Romanow. Nexen's Chief Financial Officer Kevin Reinhart will serve as interim CEO. Gary Nieuwenburg, Nexen Canada's executive vice president, is also leaving the company effective immediately. Nexen shares closed at $16.70 yesterday.
