Sequenom Named to NASDAQ Global Select Market

, today announced that the company has been upgraded to the NASDAQ Global Select Market, a segment of the NASDAQ Global Market with the highest initial listing standards of any exchange in the world. Sequenom will continue to trade under the ticker symbol, "SQNM," and will transfer its stock listing starting on January 3, 2012.
