Transocean Says Underwriters Exercised Full Option on Shares; Will Buy Up to Additional 3.9M Shares

Transocean Ltd.

today announced that the underwriters for Transocean's previously announced share offering have exercised in full their option to purchase up to an additional 3,900,000 shares. Including the shares being purchased pursuant to exercise of this option, Transocean, upon registration of the shares issued in connection with this option in accordance with Swiss law, will have issued an aggregate of 29,900,000 shares in the offering, for aggregate gross proceeds of $1,211 million.
