Baker Awarded$12M Contract from New Jersey Department of Transportation

Michael Baker Jr., Inc., a unit of Michael Baker Corporation

, has been awarded a $12.26 million contract from the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) for the I-280/Route 21 Interchange Project in Newark, N.J. This is one of the largest design projects awarded by NJDOT in recent years. Baker will provide project management, roadway design, maintenance and protection of traffic plans, bridge design, geotechnical and foundation design, environmental permitting and utility engineering.
