A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts
Pre-open movers US stock futures are slightly lower this morning, ahead of October non-farm payrolls data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 5 points to 11,971.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 1.40 points to 1,254.30. Nasdaq 100 futures declined 2.50 points to 2,358.50.
A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were higher today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index rose 0.47%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved up 0.66%, French CAC 40 index rose 0.34% and German DAX 30 index gained 0.04%.
Asian markets ended higher, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rising 1.8389%, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving up 2.48% and China's Shanghai Composite rising 0.81%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index surged 3.1196% and India's Sensex gained 0.46%.
Broker Recommendation Analysts at Jefferies & Company upgraded Kellogg Company (NYSE: K) from “underperform” to “hold.”
Kellogg shares gained 0.18% to $50.00 in after-hours trading.
