A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts
Pre-open movers US stock futures are lower this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dipped 164 points to 11,733.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 25.90 points to 1,223.40. Nasdaq 100 futures dropped 44 points to 2,312.00.
A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index fell 3.34%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved down 2.54%, French CAC 40 index fell 3.87% and German DAX 30 index dipped 4.25%.
Asian markets ended mostly lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average dropping 1.6553%, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving down 1.45% and China's Shanghai Composite rising 0.07%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell 2.4914% and India's Sensex declined 1.3%.
Broker Recommendation Analysts at Jefferies & Company downgraded Avon Products Inc (NYSE: AVP) from “buy” to “hold.” The target price for Avon Products has been lowered $33 to $20.
Avon Products shares dropped 3.13% to close at $18.28 yesterday.
