In America, the only time people line up for a book is when Harry Potter or Twilight has a new entry.
In China, they are willing to line up for books with a bit more substance. At least, that was the case this week when the Steve Jobs biography arrived on Chinese store shelves.

displays.
MICGadget spoke to several customers who waited in line to get their copy of Jobs' long-awaited biography. One of them was Wang Xiaochuan, the chief technical officer of a Chinese web portal called Sohu. “I purchased 500 copies of the book for my colleagues, I hope they can learn from it,” he said. Cheng Ji also purchased more than one copy, saying, “I bought five copies for my son in college and friends.”
