A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts
Pre-open movers US stock futures are flat this morning, as investors are awaiting earnings reports. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 1 point to 11,756.00 and futures on the S&P 500 stock index fell 1.20 points to 1,234.00. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 1.75 points to 2,336.00.
A Peek Into Global Markets Asian markets ended higher, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rising 1.9022%, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving up 2.62% and China's Shanghai Composite gaining 2.29%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 4.1391% and India's Sensex gained 0.86%. European markets were mixed today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index has gained 0.13%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved up 0.14%, German DAX 30 index fell 0.25% and France CAC 40 index dropped 0.26%.
Broker Recommendation Analysts at Piper Jaffray downgraded Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (NASDAQ: TEVA) from “overweight” to “neutral.” The target price for TEVA has been lowered from $63 to $45.
TEVA's shares closed at $39.16 on Friday.
