Satcon 1.25 Megawatt Equinox Prism Platform Medium Voltage Inverter System Receives North American Certification with 98% CEC Efficiency
Satcon Technology Corporation® (NASDAQ: SATC) today announced that its 1.25 megawatt Satcon Equinox Prism Platform has achieved 98% CEC listed efficiency. The system is now generally available in North America and certified to UL1741 and CSA C22.2 No. 107.1 by CSA International.
Satcon Equinox Prism Platform is a factory integrated inverter building block that incorporates two parallel 625kW inverters and a medium voltage (MV) transformer combined with switchgear on a single platform. Delivered as a complete system, Prism Platform enables rapid and reliable site connection, greatly reducing installed cost and site labor. CSA International is Satcon's certification provider, with three products certified to date in 2011, and another six in process.
