Satcon Selected by Q-Cells for the Second Largest Solar Plant in North America

Satcon Technology Corporation® (NASDAQ: SATC) today announced that it has been selected by Q-Cells North America to supply an additional 40 megawatts of their Prism Platform solutions for the Starwood project in Sault St Marie, Ontario.

The Starwood projects are contracted under the Renewable Energy Standard Offer Program (RESOP) developed and overseen by the Ontario Power Authority and will connect to local utility PUC Distribution, Inc. The combined 60MW project, when complete, will be the second largest in North America and among the largest in the world.
