Aastrom Granted European Composition-of-Matter Patent for Ixmyelocel-T

Aastrom Biosciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: ASTM), today announced that it has been granted a key composition of matter patent from the European Patent Office. The patent provides protection throughout the European Union for ixmyelocel-T, the company's investigational product currently in clinical development for the treatment of critical limb ischemia and dilated cardiomyopathy.
