Top Narrow Based Indexes For September 13

By 10:20 am, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 42.31 points, or 0.38%, to 11,103.43, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had gained 7.65 points, or 0.66%. The NASDAQ composite index rose 20.66 points, or 0.83%.

Some of the narrow based indexes that are driving the markets are Chinese IT Stocks, which have gained 2.7%, Money Center Bank Stocks, up 2.2%, and Apparel Retail Stocks, moving 2.1% higher as a group.

In Tickerspy's Chinese IT complex, Vanceinfo Technologies Inc (NYSE: VIT) had surged 5.1%. VIT's PEG ratio is 0.55.
