Sony
SNE
is determined to prevent its
hugely popular PlayStation Network
from
getting hacked
again. The company is so determined, in fact, that it has hired a former official at the Department of Homeland Security. According to
Reuters
(via

), Philip Reitinger, the former director of the U.S. National Cyber Security Center, will take on a new role as the senior VP. Sony says that Reitinger will report to general counsel Nicole Seligman. “Certainly the network issue was a catalyst for the appointment,” a Sony spokesman told Reuters. “We are looking to bolster our network security even further.”
