A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts
Pre-open movers US stock futures are lower this morning, as investors are awaiting jobs data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dipped 89 points to 11,376.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 10.80 points to 1,190.50. Nasdaq 100 futures dropped 20.25 points to 2,197.00. A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index fell 1.86%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved down 1.53%, French CAC 40 index fell 2.54% and German DAX 30 index dropped 2.87%.
Asian markets ended mostly lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average dropping 1.1876%, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving down 1.40% and China's Shanghai Composite dropping 1.09%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell 1.8092% and India's Sensex gained 0.90%.
Broker Recommendation Analysts at Oppenheimer upgraded Liquidity Services Inc (NASDAQ: LQDT) from “perform” to “outperform.” The target price for Liquidity Services has been raised from $28 to $38.
Liquidity Services shares gained 30.42% to close at $31.30 yesterday.
